Windshield wiper
          The switch for the wiper unit, is located above
          the windshield.

Oil indicator light
          This is the most important instrument on the panel. 
          If the light comes on, other than when starting the
          scooter, pull over and shut off the scooter
          immediately and call the shop for assistance. 
          The light means that the oil pressure is low and
          continued running will ruin the engine.  REPEAT -
          Shut off the scooter immediately and call in !!

Clutch and Gear shift
          Incorrect shifting is the most frequent cause of
          minor breakdowns!  Correct shifting of the vehicle
          is extremely important.  The shift from 1st gear to
          2nd gear is the most critical.  When shifting make sure
          that the clutch is fully depressed.  (Put the ball of
          your foot on the pedal, not your instep.)  Shift slowly
          from 1st gear to the central neutral position, then
          push the lever down and forward, slowly into 2nd gear.

Break failure
          With every vehicle that you drive there is a slight
          possibility of brake failure. If the brake pedal goes
          all the way to the floor when you step on it:
                    1. Pump the brake pedal
                    2. Shift to a lower gear
                    3. Turn off the engine
                    4. Pull the emergency brake
                    5. Stay in control of yourself and the
                        scooter. STAY CALM
