PREVENTING THEFT

          1. Never tell anyone on the route how
              much money you sell in a day or how
              much money is in your money bag. 

          2. Only keep change for $10.00 in your
              money bag.  Put the rest of your money
              in the back box safe or hidden in your
              pocket. 

          3. Watch your money bag and coin
              changer.  Children will especially try to
              take money from your coin changer. 

          4. Lock all your money and ice cream in
              your back box if you have to leave the
              scooter for any reason. 

          5. In especially bad areas, load the front box
              completely, lock the back box and sell
              only from the front. Do not leave the seat
              of your scooter. 

          6. Be aware of bad looking situations and
              avoid them. If you feel in danger, do not
              hesitate to drive away.
