          3. Don't waste time.  With small children ask to see
how much money they have before letting them
pick an item.  Many times children will not have
enough money, or only enough for the smallest item.

          4. Do not accept food stamps.

          5. Make sure the change is correct.
              NEVER CHEAT ANYONE!

          6. Do not give away any ice cream or sell any
on credit.  However, melties may be sold at a
reduced price.  Be sure that melties are counted
out at less than the regular value.

          7. BE THE NEIGHBORHOOD HERO!!  Hand
out each popsicle as if it were a personal gift
              from you!

Evening selling

          1. About one hour before dusk put all your loose
items up front, and sell only from your front box
so as to cut down on the number of open boxes
              that you bring in.

          2. Turn your lights on as soon as it gets dusk.
Scooters can be very difficult to see, especially
              at night.

          3. Sell as long as possible. Start driving back from
your route when it is too dark to sell any more.
