Log Changes

More log changes took effect this week.  These were changes to the log from 2:00am to 6:00am and from 6:00pm to midnight.  The next log changes will be to the weekend. Those changes will be in a couple of weeks.

Board-Operators

Weekday Board Operators were given daily and weekly duties, including; freshening promos and PSAs, segmenting programs and preparing certain programs for the weekend.  In addition they will be recording a one minute feature that will begin to air in the next week or two.

Production

I prepared some “best of” hours for this weekend (this production will be done by the board-ops in the future).

Weekend Programming

I made some recommendations for immediate changes to the Saturday schedule. I am still waiting for approval on several programs that I have proposed to add to the weekend schedule. I have included a sales sheet for a couple of these programs (for sponsorship purposes).  I would like to have a schedule in place before I institute some of the log changes for the weekend.

Promotions

Our “Listen at Work” promotion has been delayed due to our phones not being ready. We are planning to start this promotion at the start of February.  ALSO, I have begun planning the “KOL Class Reunion”.  There are a few old fans of KOL that will be assisting us in this promotion.  Again, our first order of business for the Class Reunion is a venue. I would suggest approaching the Sheridan with the idea.  They are completing an entire new building in downtown Seattle that they should be eager to promote.
