There may need to be some minor adjustments, but that should be very close.

News, Traffic, and Weather beds and KOL Newscasts

I have freshened our News/Traffic/Weather beds, and had David arrange for the :53 SRN News to be recorded.  This is a one minute newscast that we will air during KOL board-op times, as we will be airing a one minute local newscast during these hours of operation.

Public Affairs Programming

We have recorded our first public affairs program, The Pulse of Puget Sound, which will begin in a couple of weeks (after the first of the year).  Our first interview was with Tacoma Rescue Mission (homelessness), This coming week we will be talking with Northwest Harvest (food banks).

Weekend Programming

Weekend programming is often ignored as far as a rating concern, and yet it plays a significant part of the stations over-all Arbitron 12+ ratings.  As a company we tend to have conflicting policies that make weekend scheduling a challenge, but I hope to have a more cohesive weekend line-up beginning the first of the year.

Next week we will begin to adjust our weekday logs, to get ready for board-op training and operations on the following week.
